Aanbieders.be is Belgium’s market leader in online price comparison. Their main aim is to help Belgian consumers to save money on telecom, internet, digital television and energy by providing them with an overview of actual prices and monthly offers.

Aanbieders.be asked midd.ag to have a critical look at their product homepage layout. We noticed they were using a lot of text in order to explain their way of working and to translate the general idea of the website. Keeping in mind that the Belgian internet user is rather reluctant in using the world wide web for purchases or price comparison, we came up with an easy solution: a wizard. First of all, the compactness of the wizard results in a less crowded product homepage. Second, it gives the user different price comparison options (advice from an expert, a calculator and current offers) without scrolling down. Last, it still provides enough information (something which is rather important to the Belgian internet user). Aanbieders.be were happy with the result and give us a go to start Photoshopping.
